After breakfast proceed to Salzburg then travel to Salzburg, a historical city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the birthplace of Mozart, and the setting for the Sound of Music movie. After arrival we stroll through Salzburg and past the city's focal point, the Salzburg Cathedral. The Residenz Fountain, regarded as Salzburg's most exquisite fountain, and the Love Lock Bridge, which spans the Salzac River and represents unending love, are notable examples of early baroque art. Getreide Gasse, a bustling shopping avenue in Salzburg's historic altstadt and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, is also known as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who lived there until he was seventeen. Linzer Gasse is another lovely street with its handicrafts, antique stores, and numerous eateries and hostels. Couples mark their locks with their names or initials and throw the key into the river. Later we proceed to Mirabell Gardens, a horticultural wonder and a key filming location for the well-known Hollywood musical "The Sound of Music."
