Tour guests will arrive at Chennai Airport as per scheduled flight. Upon arrival you will meet our Girikand Tour Manager and transfer from Chennai City to Puducherry. Puducheery or Pondicherry, a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern state. Its French legacy is preserved in its French Quarter, with tree-lined streets, mustard-colored colonial villas and chic boutiques. On arrival in Pondicherry check in at hotel. Later in the evening take a stroll at Seaside Promenade; Rock Beach is the popular stretch of beachfront in the city of Puducherry along the Bay of Bengal. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.

  Puducherry – Chidambaram – Puducherry

After breakfast at hotel proceed to Chidambaram; Thillai Nataraja Temple, also referred as the Chidambaram Nataraja Temple, is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Nataraja, form of Shiva as the Lord of dance. This Temple has ancient roots and a Shiva shrine existed at the site when the town was known as Thillai. Return to Puducherry in the evening. Overnight stay at Puducherry.

Have breakfast at hotel and proceed to visit Gingee; It is famous for its Gingee Fort, a popular tourist attraction. The Kon dynasty laid the foundations for the Gingee Fort in 1190 CE. The fort was later built by the Chola dynasty in the 13th century. During the reign of Chh Rajaram Maharaj it was the seat of the Maratha Empire for a few months. After sightseeing return to Puducherry and enjoy Seaside Promenade; Rock Beach is the popular stretch of beachfront in the city of Puducherry along the Bay of Bengal. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Later enjoy the The French Heritage Walk; will take you through streets that are laid out in a well-planned grid pattern. The buildings in the French section are easily recognizable by their ornate gateway’s arches, garden courtyards with multi-coloured bougainvilleas and the buildings themselves painted in pleasant hues of lime and peach.     ·In coach every day seats rotations will be strictly followed by all the participant tour members.
    ·Extra Adult /Child with Mattress will be provided Mattress and only one per room.
    ·Vehicles in hilly terrain/stationary position will run as Non-AC.
    ·The Tour Manager service will start from the First destination of the tour as mentioned in the itinerary.
    ·Girikand Meals service will start from first day to last day as per the itinerary.
    ·Girikand do not provide meal service during To & Fro Air travel, Train travel, Bus travel or during transit halt.
    ·Vehicle is not at disposal. Additional charges may apply for extra usage.
    ·Hotel check in is 1400hrs and checkout would be 1000hrs. Early check in and late check – out subject to availability

    · For Hi -Fly Tour from Ex Mumbai / Pune generally we block group PNR on special fares, In that case web check in, boarding pass, Seats Selections are not in our hand. Airlines may distribute the seats randomly.
    ·Airlines are solely responsible for overbooking of seats, loss of baggage, failure on the part of Airline to accommodate guest/s despite having confirmed tickets, flight delays, change in date or time, suspension of operation of Airline etc. No claim of whatsoever nature shall be made by the guest/s against Girikand.  Allotment of seats are in the hands of the airline. Guest is required to bare additional cost due to delay in flight or cancellation of flight or missed the flight as the case may be. Policies and terms and conditions of airlines towards booking, cancellation, luggage, change of the airline ticket, meals etc. will be applicable. High season surcharge as per the rules of the Airline concerned has to be paid by the guest/s. Any increase in airfare, airport taxes, visa charges, fuel surcharges after the registration shall have to be paid by the guest/s

    ·In recent days everyone is becoming a frequent traveler now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress-free holiday.
    ·Please make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four-wheel small or medium suitcase and please carry one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences.
    ·We also recommend that you have one haversack or cross shoulder bag for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour.
    ·A Sunglasses and cap/hat are definitely something that you should have in your kit.
    ·Though Girikand Travels provides all three meals such as Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Extra toppings as per the itinerary, you may carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during travel journeys.
    ·During the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, if you are travelling, then please carry a small umbrella or poncho.
