Today we proceed for full day Gangtok local sightseeing; Do Drul Chorten; one of the most important stupas in Sikkim; later we visit Namgyal Institute of Tibetology; a museum where research in the areas of Tibetan language and culture is done. Flower Exhibition Show; it showcases a variety of flowers from the different parts of Sikkim together under a single roof. Ranka Monastery; a famous monastery built in the typical form of Tibetan architecture. Ganesh Tok; Situated 6,500 ft above sea level on a beautiful hilltop, it is one of the most popular Ganesh Temples in Sikkim. Overnight at Gangtok.Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Today early in the morning, proceed to Tsomgo Lake (12000 feets above sea level) - a journey through rugged mountainous terrain takes us to the most visited lake in Sikkim. On arrival click photos with or take rid of colorfully decorated yaks and mules. Later we will proceed to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial; also known as Baba Mandir built in honors of Sepoy Harbhajan Singh of the 23rd Punjab Regiment of the Indian Army. Today we will proceed for Pelling local sightseeing, visit Khecheopalri Lake; often believed to be the sacred and wish-fulfilling lake, is one of the most serene and beautiful lakes in Sikkim. Later proceed to Kanchenjunga Falls; this mighty waterfall is believed to have originated high up in the ice glaciers of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga, giving it a perennial flow throughout the year. Skywalk Pelling; India’s first glass-bottom Skywalk. It is the connecting bridge for the giant Chenrezig statue which is located on a hilltop. Return to the hotel. Today early morning we visit Tiger Hill to enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise on the Kanchenjunga Ranges. Also, we visit to Batasia Loop; an engineering masterpiece situated at the edge of the city, and offers a 360-degree view of the city. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later visit Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park; is home to species such as the Red Panda, Asiatic Black Bear, and the Clouded Leopard. Also, we visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI); Founded in 1954 it encourages Indian youth to participate in and propagate adventure activities and has provided training to some of India's leading mountaineers. Tenzing Rock; an enormous natural rock used for rock climbing named after Tenzing Norgay who climbed Mt Everest for the first time with Edmund Hillary.
