Later proceed to Tawang, which is situated at an altitude of 3025 M above sea level. Tawang Chu River and Tawang Valley are very mesmerising. En-route pass through Sela Pass, a high altitude mountain pass that acts as the gateway to Tawang. Early morning proceed to Bum La Pass (15,200 ft) - one of the four officially agreed BPM (Border Personnel Meeting) points between the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army of China. On the way back visit Shungatser Lake, named after the famous film star Madhuri Dixit who danced here in a scene of the movie Koyla. Later visit Pankang Teng Tso Lake (12,000 ft) - also known as PT Tso - is a high altitude lake. Return to Tawang.
