Early in the morning drive to Baratang. Today we will enjoy an excursion to Baratang Island (Subject to operation), the island which has dense mangrove forests and rich diversified fauna. We will visit Mud Volcano - India’s only active Mud Volcano. It is formed by gases and liquids excreted by the earth’s interior. There’s no lava spewed out, but mud in a semi-solid state comes out of the volcano. Later we enjoy a boat ride through the Mangrove Reserves to the wonderful Limestone caves, to explore stalagmite and stalactite formations which were formed millions of years ago due to the slow deposition of lime on the earth's surface. In the evening back to Portblair for Overnight stay at Port Blair. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
