Munnar - Local Sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. Today, we will proceed for local sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala). Situated in the Kannan Devan Hills of the southern Western Ghats, the wildlife park has an area of 97 sq. km. Visitors are allowed only to the tourism area that is in Rajamala. Eravikulam is also famous for the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat and this park is built with the aim of conserving them. Later we will enjoy Speed Boat Ride at Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point; this scenic place gets its name from the natural eco phenomenon here. Later visit Tea Gardens .Evening time is free at leisure. Arrive Kochi, after lunch we will proceed for Kochi local sightseeing, visit Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church- one of the oldest European churches in India which has great historical significance & on the Mattancherry Island, we will visit the Jewish Synagogue; oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations & Dutch Palace; The Palace was built and gifted by the Portuguese as a present to the king of Cochin around 1545. Kochi – Guruvayur - Wayanad
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Wayanad. En-route visit Guruvayur Temple. Take a Darshan of Sri Krishna Temple which is known as the Dwaraka of the south, formed prior to the 16th Century, created by the Lord of the winds. Later we will continue our journey to Wayanad. Wayanad district stands on the southern tip of the Deccan plateau and its chief glory is the majestic rugged terrain of the Western Ghats, with lofty ridges interspersed with dense forest, tangled Jungles and deep valleys.
