Pack Smartly..!!
1. Pack light so you can move more quickly and
have a free hand when you need it.
2. Carry
a minimum number of valuables and plan places to conceal them.
3. Check
your bags, clothing, and vehicle to make sure you are not carrying any banned
items or substances, such as weapons or ammunition, into your destination
country.
4. Use
covered luggage tags to avoid casual observation of your identity and
nationality.
5. Avoid packing IDs, tickets and other vital
documents in backpacks or other locations you won’t be able to see at all
times.
6. Don’t pack clothes that
require ironing.
7. Tag your luggage.
Avoid
following articles in cabin baggageAny liquid
items such as oil, lotions, crèmes, perfumes. Nail cutters, Knives, Swiss
knives or any pointed metal article. If you need to carry any medicine
(especially in liquid form or ointment) then it has to be declared. You may
need to hand over the same to the air line crew and they will make it available
during the journey if necessary.
Stay Fit & Healthy
While Travelling!!
Bring a Travel First Aid Kit with the following:
Cold and Cough Tablets.
Antiseptic Cream.
Cotton.
Bandages.
You will not
believe how often it will come in handy.
Carry your Documents & keep an
extra duplicate copy of each.
Put your toiletries and cosmetics in a transparent bag! Keep your toiletries
and makeup in a see-through pouch. It will not only keep things confined in
case of a leak, but you'll be able to see everything in one place, without
digging through/mussing up your suitcase.
If you’ve forgotten something, check with the hotel before running to a
drugstore. Most
housekeeping departments carry toothbrushes, combs, sewing kits, shower caps,
and disposable razors that they will give you free of charge.
Bring entertainment in case you get
bored. Diaries (and pens), travel-size games, decks of cards, books, and mobile
devices are huge boredom-killers during long rides.
